PTFE Linear Bearing Materials, Machine Tool Slideway Bearing Materials

We manufacture RYDITE a self lubricative high wear resistant slideway bearing materials similar to TURCITE for Machine tool guide ways to avoid metal to metal contact is available in thicknesses of 0.8 mm, 1.6 mm and 3 mm. The standard width is 300 mm and length is 3000 mm. Any non standard sizes will be available on request.

MOUNTING METHODS: Prism, Dove tail, Flat, Tapered, V and double V V guideways.

INSTALLATION:

Surface Preparation: The surface to be mounted should have roughness value between Ra=1.6 um and 3 um. Clean the surfaces of the mounting and etched side of the bearing material using Per/Tricholoroehtylene or Acetone and allows in for air drying.

Bonding: Apply Araldite weighing 200 gm/sq.m on the cleaned surfaces and mount it properly by ensuring air pockets are released. It is recommended that a clamping pressure of between 0.1 Kg/Sq.cm and 0.3 kg/sq.cm be applied uniformly till the completion of curing.

Finishing: The bonded surfaces can be finished with conventional machining followed by grinding using effective coolant.
